Schools of Trust
Schools of Trust is a film about a new idea of education.
Two young men, the one business student, the other one teacher went on a trip. Constant companions are a camera and a suitecase full of questions:
Are there schools where children love to learn?
How would learning locations look like where the children are happy and where they have the freedom to unfold their natural curiosity undisturbed?
What happens when children can be them themselves?
It all started at a meeting of the “european democratic education community” shortly EUDEC in the summer of 2012. At this multi-day conference in Freiburg more than 300 people from all over Europe participated to reinvent education together.
With a rough concept in the back head, the first interviews with pupils, parents, teachers and graduates emerged. The statements of the educational pioneers should later have tremendous influenc on the film’s story.
